For more than 23 years, Dr. Robin Simpkins has been providing excellent care in veterinary medicine. She has been a partner with VPP for two years and is located in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she is the co-owner and medical director of Cherokee Hospital for Animals. In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Simpkins previously worked for a practice consulting group that focused on efficiency models, mentoring and onboarding for eight years. She completed both her undergraduate degree and her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Auburn University, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. As a member of the MAB, she feels privileged to help shape VPP’s growth and development.
Dr. Simpkins is the proud owner of two dogs and two cats, and she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Marin, and fiancé, Jason. When she isn’t taking care of animals, she likes to travel, run and do hot yoga.
