Doctors and practice managers hold real co-ownership in the practices they lead, each with its own distinct local identity. Our doctors and increasingly our practice managers, own a meaningful piece of the hospital, set the standard of medicine, and make the decisions that shape the practice, with the support of a central home team. The Hometeam is not a corporate back office but true collaborators that support the hospital to make the right decisions for their context. Our Partners are leaders of their hospitals and in the VPP community at large, and are at the heart of all decision making. Partnership is who we are and it's how we relate to each other
Community
Our hospitals retain their individual identities, standards of care and ways of supporting clients while engaging in a rich, broader community connected by a shared mission and values. VPP is a connected peer network that facilitates the sharing of best practices, offers career mentorship, and helps support resilience, well being and leadership development among veterinary professionals. Doctors, practice managers, and team members meet in person through community events, trainings, and advisory groups, and they grow together as clinicians, operators, and leaders. This gives practice owners not only peer support on the challenging and rewarding path of business ownership and clinical leadership but also the opportunity to learn and benefit from enriching trainings and community events.
