VP of Growth Enablement & Optimizations

Jared joined VPP after more than 18 years in animal health. He started at Zoetis, went on to found and run a veterinary purchasing group, owned and operated animal hospitals, and led procurement, strategy and optimization at United Veterinary Care. Most of that career was spent working alongside veterinary hospitals, helping them think more clearly about how they bought and priced care. He brought that same practical instinct to VPP.

A New England native, Jared spent most of his life in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and lived in Portsmouth with his wife and their four children. He earned his B.A. from Boston College.

Jared passed away in July 2026. He was an integral part of VPP, and his impact on our team and the people we serve will be felt for a long time. We are deeply grateful for the years we shared with him. He is mourned as part of the VPP family, and our hearts are with his loved ones.
