Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in the veterinary medical field is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of at least 2 years in a supervisory position with ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, colleagues, and veterinarians.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Develop and oversee the scheduling operations for the front desk as well as acting as a liaison between clients and staff as well as front desk staff and medical staff.
- Assist the Practice Manager with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring members of the reception team.
- Train, guide and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and exceptional customer service delivery.
- Develop a solid understanding of common vaccination protocols, basic laboratory tests, prevalent diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior to address client queries confidently.
- Ensure accurate recording of services and product sales, while also handling various forms of payments effectively.
- Keep informed of industry trends and advancements to enhance your expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of client services.
