Co-owner Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital
For over 22 years, Dr. Marie Ingle has been dedicated to practicing veterinary medicine. She partnered with VPP in 2015, where she served as a partner and medical director at Sangaree Animal Hospital at Cane Bay in Summerville, South Carolina. In 2021, she opened Cainhoy Veterinary Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Ingle started her career as an equine vet before transitioning to small animal general practice in 2010. She received both her B.S. and M.S. in animal science from North Carolina State University and attended the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine to receive her DVM. Dr. Ingle is honored to be a member of the MAB and represent the interests of VPP’s doctor partners, as it is important for the medical side of the partnership to have a voice in the conversations. In this role, she is able to look at the big picture and consider what’s best for all VPP hospitals.
When she isn’t taking care of animals, Dr. Ingle enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, their two sons and the two cats they adopted during the COVID-19 pandemic, Margaret and Martin. They like being out on the water whenever possible and going on family vacations.
