Dr. Michelle Vitulli serves as VP of Veterinary Affairs where she focuses on building the capabilities and community of VPP’s doctors. From supporting veterinarians’ growth at every stage of their careers to helping them explore partnership as part of their professional journey, she is passionate about creating opportunities for doctors to thrive.

Dr. Vitulli also brings her deep clinical and hospital leadership experience to VPP’s highest-priority clinical initiatives and strategic vendor partnerships, with a particular focus on shaping new commercial programs and important technologies to effectively support doctors and fit naturally into clinical practice.

A 1991 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Vitulli founded the Caring Hands Animal Hospital brand with 10 hospitals in the Virginia, Maryland, and DC region, as well as Amor Animal Hospital in Miami, Florida. Her experience as a clinician, owner, and mentor continues to shape how she supports VPP’s doctors and hospital teams today.

Outside of work, Dr. Vitulli enjoys spending time with her three children, Daniel, Julia, and Anna, and shares her home with a dog named Harley, and two cats named Little Bear and Aslan.
